1. Find Meaning
Spend some time figuring out what is most important in your life, and why.

What are your goals? What makes you happy?

Your purpose in life is what gives you direction and gives you meaning. You will live your entire life without meaning.

2. Create your Dream Board
As children, we used to daydream all the way through our childhoods. As children, we were skilled at visualizing our futures and dreaming of what they would look like. We believed anything was possible.

As adults, our dreams became less realistic as we grew older. Once we felt that achieving our dreams was impossible, our dreams became hidden.

Dream boards are a great way to believe in your dreams again. Your dreams will come to life by being displayed on a daily dream board. You can also use it as a reminder to focus your energy on the things you want.

3. Set goals
Once you have identified what is most important in your life, and what your ideal life looks like, it’s time to start setting your medium-term, long-term, and short-term goals. You can achieve your goals and make a difference in your life by focusing on them.

Keep in mind that your goals could change. As life changes, your goals should be flexible. When you are learning how to transform your life, it is the little steps you take that will create momentum.

4. Resign from Regrets
Remorse will only make you miserable in your life. You will lose the present and future if you only think about the past.

It is impossible to change the past. So let it go. Only you can control how you live your future and present lives. Challenge every negative thought you have about the past.

You can have fun writing your regrets on paper, then burn them in a bonfire or bury it in your yard.

5. Do Something Scary
It is about you choosing not to stay in your comfort zone and seeing limitations from a new perspective.

Public speaking can be one of the most terrifying things anyone can do. Public speaking terrified me. However, I knew I wanted to be a motivational speaker. Toast Masters was my solution to my fear of public speaking.

My first speech was horrible. My knees were aching, my hands were shaking, and I couldn’t stop shaking. It was a difficult task, but I managed it and the satisfaction of completing the speech exceeded my expectations. I decided to keep going and I now make a living as a motivational speaker.

You can make a list of things you are afraid of doing but would love to try. Start small, make a plan, then move on to the next step. If you want to change your life and avoid complacency, comfort, and safety, don’t hesitate to do scary things.
